(Ed. note – couldn’t decide if this was a part deux (II) or needs a new category… Boxship SOS? Boxes Stopping? BoxStop! StopBox? Agency is slippery here.)
Today is Good Friday, when Jesus dies again, and 45 real people have just been reported dead in Limpopo after the bus they were traveling on from Gaborone to Moria for an Easter service fell off a bridge. The only survivor was an 8 year-old girl.
(If she survives further, I hope she will not care to look at coverage of the accident on such “trusted” sites as NYT and Guardian, who both saw it fit to post the same video of a crushed bus in a ravine so “fresh” that the wreck was still smouldering. Did an editor consider that those images may be the last a young girl sees of where her mother/father/siblings etc. died, or may have been dying? Shame on them.)
Oh, and apparently if they’re not South Africans, they won’t “count” (at first, at least) in the stats for Easter weekend road deaths. Jir.
But to Baltimore.
There are apparently jokes about “Smalltimore”. Sounds clever, but I still don’t quite get it. Not worth looking up. More importantly, from Sky:

So much wrong here.
